Largo Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited, AHCA approved teaching hospital serving the community from two campuses. The hospital provides Bariatric/Weight Loss Surgery at the Florida Bariatric Center, Behavioral Healthcare, Breast Healthcare at the Florida Breast Institute, Cardiovascular Services, Clinical Research, Company Care occupational healthcare, Emergency Care, Imaging and Diagnostic Services, Knee Care at the Florida Knee and Orthopedic Pavilion, Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation, Sleep Disorders Care, Spine and Neurological Care at the Florida Spine & Neuro Center and Wound Care with Hyperbaric Services. Largo Medical Center’s Graduate Medical Education program is the West Coast Academic Center for NOVA Southeastern University, is affiliated with the USF Morsani College of Medicine and is one of the largest program of its kind in the Southeastern United States. Right now at Largo Medical Center there are 13 graduate medical education programs including Anesthesiology, Dermatology, Family Practice, Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and Traditional Internship residency programs and Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Psychiatry, Pulmonary Critical Care and Rheumatology fellowship programs.
